This is the first of what I plan to be a monthly update about what's happening in my world. I'm hoping to include some cool exclusive content in these messages as well. As mentioned above, you're welcome to unsubscribe at any point!
There's a lot of great stuff I'm involved with this Spring, and I'm excited to share it with you. I'd love to see you at a show!
The Stone House Cafe in South Seattle has recently started hosting live music during their weekend dinner hours, and I've been having a blast performing there with my trio. They've got an excellent menu and wonderful ambiance. We will be down there twice this month:
The Dylan Welsh Trio @ The Stone House Cafe March 11th and 19th, 7p-10p. No Cover!
On the other side of the musical spectrum, I've recently been asked to join up with Contemporary Country artist Dylan Jakobsen's live band for his upcoming album release dates. Dylan is an excellent songwriter, a great singer, and a very strong guitarist in his own right. The band is tight, and the new material on the album is a blast to play. If country/rock is more to your taste, here's when I'll be playing with him:
Dylan Jakobsen Album Release Shows March 13th @ The Hard Rock Cafe (Seattle): 6:30pm, $15 adv, $20 day of show March 18th @ The Ponderosa Lounge (Portland): 9pm, $10

Now, to take another complete 180 degree turn, I'll be performing with Indian pop artist Ayush at the end of the month. This performance is for the local Holi Festival of Colors, which is going to be a blast. If you've never seen footage of a color festival (they happen all over the world), definitely look it up on YouTube.
We'll be playing some of his original material, as well as a host of covers about peace and joy by artists such as Matisyahu, Bob Marley, and MC Yogi.
Ayush @ The Holi Festival of Colors March 26th, 2p-3p. Redmond Town Center
The event is FREE to attend! There will be awesome performances all day, and lots of great food. Just make sure to wear something you're not going to need to wear again!
That's all the important stuff I can think of! Hope to see you at a show this month! Be sure to keep an eye on my webpage calendar, as there are lots of things that are added on throughout the month.
*Did you know I'm now teaching Skype Lessons? These are great for folks that are too busy to leave the house to learn guitar, or who want to study with me from outside of the area. Check out on my webpage for more info! I also currently have more openings for in-person private students, just get in touch if you'd like to take some lessons.
